About Nutsedge Prevention

Nutsedge is a grassy weed that pops up in warmer, wetter weather.

It grows VERY quickly. When you mow your lawn all looks good, but within a few days you’ll see ugly, long patches of yellow/green grass throughout the lawn. If you’ve ever had this problem, we can prevent it with an additional application of a preemergent herbicide produced specifically for this purpose.
